- Stainless Steel Half Out — The tried-and-true 50gr half-out insert. A clean, lightweight setup for hunters who want a proven FOC without added complexity.
- 25gr Aluminum Half Out — A lightweight 25gr aluminum half-out insert for shooters looking to minimize front-of-center weight and maximize arrow speed.
- Half Out with Sleeve — A 65gr stainless steel insert paired with an aluminum sleeve system for extra durability and increased front-of-center weight. When choosing this option, add an extra 3/4 of an inch to your carbon-to-carbon length to account for the sleeve.
- CMI HIT Insert & Collar — Hidden Insert Technology seats the insert flush inside the shaft for a seamless, low-profile fit. The collar locks everything in place for maximum structural integrity and point retention under hard impacts. The HIT Insert & Collar combo weighs 50gr. A premium upgrade for serious hunters demanding the best in component quality. When choosing this option, add an extra 1/2 of an inch to your total carbon to carbon length to account for the collar.

Very good looking arrow! Some of them weren't as straight as I hoped, but still right there with most other .003 advertised arrows that cost nearly twice as much, so understood. No complaints on toughness as well. Seem to do quite well. Can't wait to poke deer and hogs with them!
I bought these arrows for my husband and kids for an upcoming 3D archery tournament, and all three of them were genuinely impressed. My husband actually forgot to change his sight tape and sent an Obsidian over the target and straight into the side of a hill—yet he was able to pull it out and keep shooting the same arrow. He shoots a 75# bow that chronos at 300 FPS, so that was no gentle impact. The durability speaks for itself.
The customer service has also been outstanding. We’re local to the company, and they offer local delivery—often next day, and sometimes even same day. (We do have our own arrow saw and fletching jig, so if you need those services, turnaround time may be a bit longer.)
These arrows are economical without sacrificing quality, which is a huge win when you have a whole household of archers. NDKs will definitely stay in our quivers, and we’re proud to support a Montana company that delivers both great products and great service.
